JOlivier & Partners has been retained by a GCC sovereign wealth platform to identify a CEO for its newly established private markets vehicle, deploying $5bn across private equity, infrastructure and real assets globally.

The Organisation & Context

Our client is a GCC-based sovereign platform establishing a dedicated private markets vehicle. The CEO will be the founding executive, responsible for building the investment team, governance framework and deploying capital across global private markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the investment organisation from the ground up — 25 professionals over 3 years
• Define and execute the investment strategy across PE, infrastructure and real assets
• Establish institutional governance and risk management frameworks
• Manage the relationship with the sovereign fund leadership
• Deploy $5bn across primary, secondary and co-investment strategies

Candidate Profile

• CEO, CIO or Managing Partner at a sovereign wealth fund or leading alternative asset manager
• Track record of building investment organisations and deploying large-scale capital
• Deep relationships with leading PE and infrastructure managers globally
• Experience operating in GCC sovereign fund governance
