Role Overview
JOlivier & Partners has been retained by a GCC sovereign wealth platform to identify a CEO for its newly established private markets vehicle, deploying $5bn across private equity, infrastructure and real assets globally.
The Organisation & Context
Our client is a GCC-based sovereign platform establishing a dedicated private markets vehicle. The CEO will be the founding executive, responsible for building the investment team, governance framework and deploying capital across global private markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the investment organisation from the ground up — 25 professionals over 3 years
- Define and execute the investment strategy across PE, infrastructure and real assets
- Establish institutional governance and risk management frameworks
- Manage the relationship with the sovereign fund leadership
- Deploy $5bn across primary, secondary and co-investment strategies
Candidate Profile
- CEO, CIO or Managing Partner at a sovereign wealth fund or leading alternative asset manager
- Track record of building investment organisations and deploying large-scale capital
- Deep relationships with leading PE and infrastructure managers globally
- Experience operating in GCC sovereign fund governance
