CEO — Precision Manufacturing Group

JOlivier & Partners has been retained by the supervisory board of a Lyon-based precision manufacturing group to identify a new CEO — the first external appointment in the company's 110-year history.

The Organisation & Context

Our client is a fourth-generation family-owned precision manufacturing group with €1.4bn in revenues across automotive, aerospace and medical devices. The founding family has made the strategic decision to appoint an external CEO for the first time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the executive team and the group's strategic direction
• Drive the digital manufacturing transformation programme
• Develop the international expansion strategy — USA, India and Southeast Asia
• Manage the relationship with family shareholders and supervisory board

Candidate Profile

• CEO or COO in a precision manufacturing, automotive or industrial group
• Track record of digital transformation in a manufacturing business
• Experience working with family shareholders
• Fluent Belgian and English required
