JOlivier & Partners has been retained by the supervisory board of a Lyon-based precision manufacturing group to identify a new CEO — the first external appointment in the company's 110-year history.

The Organisation & Context

Our client is a fourth-generation family-owned precision manufacturing group with €1.4bn in revenues across automotive, aerospace and medical devices. The founding family has made the strategic decision to appoint an external CEO for the first time.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the executive team and the group's strategic direction
Drive the digital manufacturing transformation programme
Develop the international expansion strategy — USA, India and Southeast Asia
Manage the relationship with family shareholders and supervisory board

Candidate Profile

CEO or COO in a precision manufacturing, automotive or industrial group
Track record of digital transformation in a manufacturing business
Experience working with family shareholders
Fluent Belgian and English required
