Director of Retail Operations — High-Growth Retail Group

JOlivier & Partners has been retained to identify a Director of Retail Operations for a major retail group in hyper-growth across Europe.

The role covers a strategic perimeter of around 400 stores between Paris and Northern France.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the performance of a network of 400+ stores.
• Lead a team of Area Managers and oversee field organisation.
• Ensure the execution of processes and standards in a high-volume environment.
• Monitor and optimise key KPIs: sales, margin, productivity and costs.
• Support and engage teams in a context of rapid growth and high standards.
• Work closely with headquarters and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and structuring projects.
• Be continuously present in the field across the perimeter.

Candidate Profile

• At least 10 years of multi-site retail experience.
• Senior Area Manager, Regional Director or equivalent level, with strong potential.
• Proven leadership, able to engage and challenge teams.
• Strong results, process and performance orientation.
• At ease in fast-paced, structured environments.
• Strategic vision and ability to interact with an international headquarters.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary for this position is €115,000–125,000 per year, plus a bonus. Final compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience and track record.
