Country Manager France — Vascular Medical Devices

JOlivier & Partners has been retained to identify the Country Manager France of an international leader in innovative medical devices for vascular surgery.

The company develops, manufactures and commercialises its own devices, and combines an entrepreneurial culture, close proximity to healthcare professionals and a constant capacity for innovation.

The Role

Reporting directly to European management, the Country Manager will define and implement the growth strategy of the French subsidiary — a hands-on leader steering commercial performance, developing the team and building lasting relationships with the key players of the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial and operational strategy in France.
• Deliver revenue, profitability and market share objectives.
• Lead, develop and unite the sales teams and support functions.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with vascular surgeons, hospitals, purchasing groups and key opinion leaders.
• Identify growth opportunities and new development levers.
• Ensure operational excellence and full compliance with regulatory and ethical requirements.
• Work closely with European and international functions to deploy the Group’s strategic priorities.
• Represent the company at congresses, scientific events and institutional meetings.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in commercial leadership, including oversight of support functions.
• Essential knowledge of vascular, cardiology or implantable medical device environments.
• Strong leadership, with the ability to unite and grow a team.
• Strong results and business development orientation.
• Ability to operate in an agile environment and structure a growing subsidiary.
• Fluent English is essential.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary for this position is €100,000–110,000 gross per year, plus a bonus that can exceed €50,000 and a company car. The role is based in Paris, on site.
