JOlivier & Partners has been retained by the board of a leading Spanish healthcare services group to identify a new CEO. The incoming CEO will lead strategic repositioning and geographic expansion across Southern Europe.

The Organisation & Context

Our client is a leading private healthcare group with 18 hospitals across Northern and Central Spain, PE-backed and approaching end of hold period. The CEO must optimise performance and prepare the business for a strategic transaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full executive team and define strategic direction
• Drive operational performance across 18 facilities with 8,000 staff
• Execute the geographic expansion plan — Rome, Naples and Barcelona
• Lead the business through its exit process

Candidate Profile

• CEO or COO experience in a multi-site healthcare group
• Track record of operational performance improvement in a clinical environment
• Understanding of Spanish healthcare regulation
• Fluent Spanish and English required
