CTO — B2B SaaS Platform

JOlivier & Partners has been retained to identify a CTO for a rapidly scaling B2B SaaS company headquartered in Lisbon. The CTO will lead a 180-person engineering organisation and define the technical strategy for the next product development phase.

The Organisation & Context

Our client is a market-leading B2B SaaS platform in HR technology with 2,400 enterprise customers across 40 countries. Following its Series D, the company is investing in AI-driven product capabilities and enterprise-grade scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical strategy and product architecture
• Lead an engineering organisation of 180 across Lisbon, Antwerp and Bangalore
• Drive the AI and ML product roadmap
• Maintain security and compliance posture for enterprise customers
• Partner with the CPO on product direction

Candidate Profile

• CTO or VP Engineering experience at a scaled SaaS business
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and AI/ML integration
• Track record of building large distributed engineering teams
• Enterprise software security and compliance experience
