Role Overview

JOlivier & Partners has been retained to identify a CLO and General Counsel for a global pharmaceutical company. The CLO will lead a legal function of 120 lawyers globally.

Our client is a top-10 global pharmaceutical company with revenues exceeding $42bn. The CLO covers M&A, licensing, IP, regulatory compliance and litigation across 80 countries.

Key Responsibilities

— Lead a global legal function of 120 lawyers across 25 jurisdictions
— Advise CEO and board on legal strategy and governance
— Lead legal support for M&A and licensing
— Manage the IP portfolio strategy
— Chair the global compliance committee

Candidate Profile

— General Counsel or CLO in a global pharmaceutical company
— Deep expertise in pharma M&A, licensing, IP and regulatory compliance
— Track record of leading large global legal teams
— Qualified lawyer; fluent English required
