JOlivier & Partners has been retained by the board of an Oxford-based clinical-stage biotech to identify a new CEO to lead through Phase 3 trials and potential NASDAQ IPO or pharma partnership.

Contexto

Our client is an Oxford University spin-out developing a first-in-class oncology therapeutic with a Phase 3 trial reading out in 18 months, $120m in funding and a strong IP estate.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the executive team through Phase 3 completion and regulatory submissions
  • Define the business development strategy — partnership vs IPO
  • Manage investor relationships and lead the next financing round ($150-200m)
  • Build commercial infrastructure for potential product launch
  • Represent the company at scientific and regulatory forums

Perfil del candidato

  • CEO or COO at a clinical-stage biotech or specialty pharma
  • Track record of Phase 3 leadership and regulatory approval or major partnership
  • Experience with NASDAQ IPO preparation or major pharma licensing
  • Deep credibility with scientific leadership and institutional investors
