Managing Director – Packaging

JOlivier & Partners is conducting a retained search for a Managing Director to lead the Spanish business of an international packaging group with full P&L and operational accountability.

The Organisation & Context

Our client is a pan-European packaging group with manufacturing operations across multiple countries. The Spanish business is a significant contributor to group revenue, positioned for growth through organic expansion and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Spanish business: manufacturing, commercial, finance and HR
• Drive revenue growth through key account development and new business acquisition
• Optimise manufacturing efficiency, quality and cost across Spanish plants
• Build and lead a cohesive senior leadership team
• Work closely with Group leadership on strategy and capital allocation

Candidate Profile

• Proven MD or Country Manager in packaging, FMCG or industrial manufacturing
• Track record managing manufacturing-led businesses with direct P&L responsibility
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Comfortable in a matrix structure reporting to international Group leadership
