The Organisation & Context

Our client is a pan-European packaging group with manufacturing operations across multiple countries. The Italian business is a significant contributor to group revenue, positioned for growth through organic expansion and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• — Lead all aspects of the Italian business: manufacturing, commercial, finance and HR
• — Drive revenue growth through key account development and new business acquisition
• — Optimise manufacturing efficiency, quality and cost across Italian plants
• — Build and lead a cohesive senior leadership team
• — Work closely with Group leadership on strategy and capital allocation

Candidate Profile

• — Proven MD or Country Manager in packaging, FMCG or industrial manufacturing
• — Track record managing manufacturing-led businesses with direct P&L responsibility
• — Fluent in Italian and English
• — Comfortable in a matrix structure reporting to international Group leadership
