Managing Director — Logistics & Supply Chain

JOlivier & Partners has been retained to identify a Managing Director for the Iberian operations of a leading pan-European logistics group. The MD will carry full P&L responsibility for Spain and Portugal with 4,200 employees and €340m in revenue.

The Organisation & Context

Our client is a pan-European logistics group backed by infrastructure capital. Following significant investment in automation in Iberia, the business is seeking a leader capable of optimising performance, accelerating commercial activity and integrating a recent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Full P&L accountability for the Iberian Peninsula
• Lead the operational integration of a recently acquired logistics business
• Drive commercial growth through key account development
• Implement the automation and digitalisation programme
• Manage relationships with customers and trade unions

Candidate Profile

• MD or Country Manager experience in logistics or supply chain
• Track record of operational integration and performance improvement
• Deep knowledge of the Spanish labour environment
• Fluent Spanish and English required
