The Organisation & Context

Our client is a FINMA-regulated private bank with AuM of CHF 22bn, serving ultra-high-net-worth clients across Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. Following a change of ownership, the new shareholders have committed to a significant investment in technology, talent and international expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• — Lead the executive team and define the strategic direction of the bank
• — Drive growth in AuM — targeting CHF 35bn within 5 years through new client acquisition and net new money
• — Manage the relationship with the board, FINMA and the correspondent banking network
• — Build the investment platform capability — expanding into alternative investments and structured products
• — Represent the bank at senior client and industry level across European and Middle Eastern markets

Candidate Profile

• — CEO or Managing Director experience at a private bank, wealth manager or UHNW-focused financial institution
• — Track record of growing AuM and building UHNW client relationships
• — Deep knowledge of FINMA regulation and Swiss private banking market
• — Strong international network across European and Middle Eastern UHNW markets
• — Fluent English and French; German an advantage
