Role Overview
JOlivier & Partners has been retained to identify a new CEO for a QCB-regulated financial services institution with assets of QAR 28bn, to lead a 5-year strategic transformation.
The Organisation & Context
Our client is a Doha-based financial services institution with operations across Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. The board has approved an ambitious strategy to transform the institution from a traditional provider into a technology-enabled, regionally diversified financial group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the executive team and 5-year strategic transformation
- Drive revenue diversification and grow fee income
- Execute the regional expansion strategy in Kuwait and Bahrain
- Manage relationships with the Qatar Central Bank
- Represent the institution at senior government and industry levels
Candidate Profile
- CEO or Deputy CEO at a bank or regulated financial services group
- Track record of leading strategic transformation in financial services
- Experience operating in the GCC regulatory environment
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Fluent English; Arabic an advantage
