Role Overview

JOlivier & Partners has been retained by a leading Qatari investment institution to identify a VP in its Private Equity Investments division, managing a $12bn direct investment mandate across technology, healthcare and consumer sectors.

The Organisation & Context

Our client is a major Qatari investment institution with a global portfolio exceeding $85bn. The VP role is part of a significant expansion of the division's direct investment and origination capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead deal origination and relationship development across global PE markets
  • Execute direct equity and co-investment transactions
  • Manage relationships with 8-10 direct investments
  • Prepare investment recommendations for the investment committee
  • Contribute to division strategy

Candidate Profile

  • VP or Senior Associate at a top-tier PE fund, investment bank or sovereign wealth fund
  • Track record of deal origination and transaction execution in growth equity or buyout
  • Deep knowledge of global PE markets and strong sponsor relationships
  • Fluent English; Arabic an advantage
