Role Overview

JOlivier & Partners has been retained by a leading financial services group to identify a Vice President based in Milan. The role sits at the intersection of client advisory, transaction execution and business development, with a clear path to senior leadership within the organisation.

The Organisation & Context

Our client is an established financial services group with a strong European franchise and growing presence in the Italian market. The Vice President will work directly with senior principals on flagship client mandates and will carry meaningful responsibility for origination and execution from day one.

Key Responsibilities

— Lead and contribute to transaction execution across a defined coverage area
— Develop and maintain senior client relationships in the Italian market
— Contribute to business development initiatives and origination activity
— Mentor and develop junior team members
— Represent the firm at industry forums and client events

Candidate Profile

— Relevant experience at Associate or VP level in investment banking, private equity or advisory
— Deep knowledge of the Italian financial and corporate market
— Strong analytical capability combined with commercial instinct
— Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages an advantage
— Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate at senior client level
