Role Overview

JOlivier & Partners has been retained to identify a CTO for a Miami-based FinTech platform providing cross-border payments and embedded finance solutions to businesses operating between the USA and Latin America.

The Organisation & Context

Our client has raised $200m in Series C and is scaling its engineering capability and expanding into digital lending and treasury management across LatAm markets.

Key Responsibilities

— Define the technical strategy for a high-scale payments platform
— Lead an engineering organisation of 140 across Miami, São Paulo and Buenos Aires
— Drive AI-powered risk management capabilities
— Ensure PCI DSS compliance and regulatory posture
— Partner with CPO and CEO on product roadmap

Candidate Profile

— CTO or VP Engineering at a FinTech or payments company
— Deep expertise in payments infrastructure and financial APIs
— Track record of building engineering teams in high-growth FinTech
— Understanding of US and LatAm financial regulations
