Role Overview

JOlivier & Partners is conducting a retained search for a CFO for a PE-backed industrial group headquartered in Brussels. The CFO will serve as strategic partner to the CEO and sponsor through the value creation plan.

The Organisation & Context

Our client is a pan-European industrial group owned by a leading buyout fund with revenues of €600m and EBITDA of €85m. The incoming CFO will be central to financial reporting, M&A execution and exit preparation over a 3-4 year hold period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all financial planning, reporting and treasury functions
  • Serve as primary financial interface with the PE sponsor
  • Drive M&A pipeline evaluation — 3 bolt-on acquisitions planned
  • Prepare the business for exit — trade sale, secondary or IPO
  • Build the finance team across 6 European countries

Candidate Profile

  • CFO or Deputy CFO experience in a PE-backed industrial business
  • Strong M&A and exit preparation track record
  • Benelux market knowledge
  • Experience managing multi-jurisdiction finance functions

Search Process & Confidentiality

Retained mandate. Compensation includes base, bonus and co-investment carry.
